ABSTRACT
Chapter 4: The Transportation Family presents the family of transportation options, a concept that includes traditional options such as family, friends, and neighbors as well as community-based public and paratransit, and ride haul services or volunteer driver programs. This chapter looks at older adult passengers who may, or may not, be able to easily use five of these options and the efforts of paid drivers to try to meet their needs.
