ABSTRACT

In order to determine the relative statistical significance of the correlations between a multitude of factors and statements, the mean of the correlation of various factors to a statement was determined in equation 4. This illustrates the statistically expected background average of the correlations. The purpose of this is to determine the ‘noise floor’ of the correlations, in order to prevent falsepositive correlations. Any correlation results at or below the mean value MCfs implies the correlation is relatively statistically insignificant.
