Factors that affect learning

This chapter is about some of the factors which may contribute to a learner having difficulties with mathematics. It is about pragmatic strategies to address some of the manifestations of these factors in order to facilitate learning. For example, factors such as a poor working memory can have a considerable impact on many of the topics that make up mathematics.
