ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on disseminating the findings from studies that use literature review methodology enables others to understand what the current best evidence on a subject is. Publishing the findings from a literature review in a journal or presenting them at a conference are two options for sharing the knowledge that you have gained as a result of conducting your study. Using online social media is becoming an increasingly important way of sharing the findings from studies. Using electronic social media is becoming a valuable way of disseminating new knowledge. Like all methods of disseminating information, using this approach to sharing the findings from the literature review has strengths and limitations. Disseminating information electronically is a very prompt way of sharing the outcomes of studies with a potentially wide audience. The two traditional ways of sharing findings from studies have been publication and conference presentations. However, using online social media is becoming an increasingly important way of sharing new knowledge.
