ABSTRACT
Chapter 2 centers on the second Fundamental Canon of the NSPE, which insists that engineers “perform services only in their area of competence.” This chapter includes readings and discussion of moral issues relating to technical competence, moral competence, mentorship, ethical engagement, technical rationality, and moral expertise.
