ABSTRACT
Chapter 5 aims to deepen the readers understating of the fifth canon, “Avoid deceptive acts.” This chapter includes readings and discussion of moral issues relating to lying and deception, the value of honesty, autonomy, full-disclosure, trust, self-deception, and plagiarism.
