ABSTRACT

Management work is the planning, organizing, leading, and controlling work that can be effectively done only by people in management positions. Economic problems also come with tourism. For example in some popular locations, tourism raises the prices to a level unaffordable by local people. Tourists require transport which increases the traffic flow and this can slow down normal traffic in some areas. Increased traffic can affect the delivery of products. Tourism is therefore expected to deliver economic benefits but not at the expense of sacrificing the environment. The economic cluster model represents a synergy; a dynamic relationship and a network between not only the companies that comprise a cluster but also the successful partnering of the stakeholders. Ocean governance and the blue economy have become the new ‘buzz words’ in the ocean economy and maritime sector. The sustainable use of marine resources requires new equipment and tools.
