ABSTRACT
It is clear that teaching assistants (TAs) have become a valuable and enduring part of school life. The great majority of teachers appreciate the support they get from TAs and cannot imagine school life without them.
‘I really value the TAs I work with. They give me and the children amazing support. I couldn't teach half as well without them.’
