Teaching assistants (TAs) work with teachers to:
foster the participation of all pupils in the social and academic processes of a school or setting; [INCLUSION]
help raise standards of achievement for all pupils; [ACHIEVEMENT]
encourage independent learning; [INDEPENDENCE]
