ABSTRACT

We notice that in almost every scenario, we describes how people should be calm, firm or confident. We can never control every single thing a child does, but we can control every single thing that we do. It is important to remember that although there are a multitude of behavior management techniques that will be discussed, there is no silver bullet in managing a classroom. Thus, we will explain how to do public redirections that address student misbehavior in an appropriate way. It is important to remember always to begin with subtle steering, then move to the private redirection conversations, and finally use the public statements as a last resort. No matter which strategy we use, always remember that the end goal is to work toward this misbehavior never occurring again. Effective teachers are very demanding of themselves. That is one of the things that make them so special.
