      ABSTRACT

      This chapter discusses the importance of thinking ethically about law. It also discusses thinking critically in the workplace, offering tips and guidance on doing so while undertaking work experience and applying for jobs. The chapter explains ways to develop and hone law student's critical insights while studying law at university, in the workplace and for law student's life beyond these environments. It describes the importance of thinking ethically about law from both a theoretical and practice perspective. The chapter also describes how law student's can utilise their critical thinking in the workplace. It focuses on discussing the requirements and critical thinking skills required for careers both inside and outside of the legal profession. The chapter explains the theory of thinking ethically about law, the difference between legal ethics and the relationship between law and morality and finally, legal ethics in law practice.
