ABSTRACT
One major division is between human psychology and animal psychology. Animal psychology overlaps with zoology but many aspects of human psychology are studied by using animals as experimental subjects. This use is analogous with the use of animals in medical research; they are used for procedures deemed unacceptable to carry out on humans.
