In 1989 when Mura Kosker Sorority was first formed, Lena Passi dis-cussed with me that the outer island women were very grieved about child abuse, so we approached John Scott from the Department
of Aboriginal Affairs on TI for funding to bring some of the women in
for a one day workshop to get their feeling on the child abuse.
