ABSTRACT
After completing this chapter, the reader should be able to:
describe the roles of the prescriber, pharmacist, physiotherapist, radiographer, podiatrist, dietician, paramedic and naturopath in relation to drug therapy;
determine which health-care professionals are able to perform the following duties: dispense medications, prescribe medications and administer medications;
describe ways in which the roles of these health-care professionals are changing in relation to drug therapy.
