ABSTRACT
The troubled start of the Chinese in Costa Rica was briefly mentioned in the previous chapter, when talking about Asian immigration to and presence in the LACs. This chapter takes into consideration the states of Central America from a more economic and political point of view, singling out a few areas for investigation.
