The Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992

The Regulations implement most of the requirements of the Workplace Directive (89/654/EEC) concerning minimum standards for workplace health and safety. Most of the provisions have long been part of British law, which was, however, not comprehensive in application. As a result of them, most of the pre-1974 law in this field is repealed or revoked.
