ABSTRACT

The previous chapter discussed how to state your purpose, struc-ture your ideas and arguments, and format your message. This chapter examines more ways to create effective paragraphs and pages. It discusses the need to analyze your specific audience and adapt your message to make it audience appealing; shows how to shepherd your sentences into unified, coherent paragraphs and pages that bolster your purpose; and explores various strategic choices for conceptualizing and organizing your message.
