Religion and Politics book
Religion has been a globalizing force throughout history. The spread of religion from its place of origin to other parts of the world has contributed to globalizing values and culture. In some cases, religion has been a source of peace, nonviolence, and humanitarian concerns. In other cases, religion has been used to incite violence, wars, and hatred. In some cases religion has been suppressed, whereas in other cases promoted. In all situations, religion continues to play a pivotal role in the values societies hold.
