ABSTRACT
Maggie Kuhn started her career as a senior activist in 1972 at the age of 67. She helped create and promote the causes of the Gray Panthers , a vocal and activist group. Through protests, speeches, and appearances on national television, she showed that older people have intelligence, energy, and political savvy. They also have experience that society needs and can use.
