ABSTRACT
In 2011, the largest generation in American history will be gray. According to theU.S. Census Bureau, the number of people in the United States who will be celebrating their sixty-fifth birthday will jump to 3.3 million, an increase of 21 percent from the year before. The ranks of the retired will grow from one in eight in 2006 to one in five in 2030.
