ABSTRACT
The development of psychological tests was a significant milestone in the development of clinical psychology. Psychological assessment was the defining activity of clinical psychology in the first half of the twentieth century, and some continue to see assessment as the one activity that most clearly distinguishes clinical psychology from related disciplines.
