ABSTRACT

Once in a K-12 school, company representatives and university researchers must be cognizant of factors that can shift or derail plans to implement or research technology in the classroom. Continuing to address the role of point people, cheerleaders, and gatekeepers, Chapter Four provides insight into personal and professional responsibilities, conflicting timelines, hosting information sessions, and infrastructure challenges. This chapter also examines how to negotiate these components and highlights approaches for support and reciprocity.
