There are several ways in which the venue can support you as you develop the event programme and this chapter will help you to identify them and draw upon the venue manager’s contacts and local expertise. The relationship that will develop between you, your suppliers and the venue is an important one and this chapter provides practical advice on working with the venue manager and getting to grips with venue catering operations.
