ABSTRACT

An e-mall is sometimes referred to as a cyber-mall or a virtual mall or an e-shopping centre. It brings together a number of separately owned e-retail sites to a single virtual location, with the individual e-retailers paying rent to the centre management, as in an oine mall. The e-mall term may be loosely used to include e-marketplaces or online marketplaces, which refers to an e-commerce site where product or service information is provided by multiple third parties. For example, Amazon, eBay, Craigslist, and price comparison websites for airfares or insurance all qualify as e-malls.
