ABSTRACT
In his career in regional theatre, film, and academia, the author has had the opportunity to share and teach his digital rendering techniques via USITT programing. The Institute's mission is to connect "performing arts design and technology communities to ensure a vibrant dialog among practitioners, educators, and students". As such, the organization has afforded him the privilege of working with extraordinary professionals who continuously educate and inspire him. Many of these colleagues have adapted his digital design approach, serving their personal working styles. In this chapter, he is sharing "words of wisdom" from practicing professionals with years of experience in the field of costume design. He is also featuring digital costume design images that are a product of their collaborations in different projects.
