ABSTRACT
This chapter introduces different kinds of safety performance measurement and reviews the safety performance of the construction industries in the United States, the United Kingdom and Hong Kong. Likewise, the safety regulations governing these jurisdictions have also been reviewed. The safety performances of the RMAA sectors in these places are highlighted in particular. Safety performance of the RMAA sector is often difficult to benchmark. There are no or only limited accident statistics available in the public domain for the RMAA sector.
