ABSTRACT
More and more people take drugs to help them face the nerve-racking existence to which our society exposes us. Sedatives are part of man's 'food' today, and stimulating as well as psychedelic drugs are his means of escape into a hypnotized imagination. Young people in England and all over Western Europe have joined the band of escapists by taking dangerous drugs, seduced by the idea that this is the way to peace and happiness. It is an idea as dangerous as it is false. Youth is itself a stimulating drug, and the energy and excitability which it produces can provide a 'heaven' on earth.
