ABSTRACT

The growing market for products of creative writing was supported by advancements in manufacturing practices and greater access to transport. The consideration of evidence of creative writing also involves the establishing and using of analytical tools that have the potential to provide the most accurate information. Considering evidence of creative writing can therefore better be undertaken by determining collection methods specific to the endeavor and then employing tools that reference the actions undertaken and all the results possible. Many examinations of creative writing concentrate primarily on its final textual results. If attempting to examine other evidence they relegate that evidence to the position of ephemera, interesting primarily as background to the final textual results. The reasons for the predominance of such final product analysis are simple: they are the result of the growth of a market for works of creative writing, beginning with the Industrial Revolution creating the means of production for manufacturing such works in volume.
