ABSTRACT

This chapter considers an epilogue, and as a means for students and others who so desire to peek behind the curtain and see the Great and Terrible Oz at work. It provides some of the arguments in the academic literature supporting the integration, and then discusses in more depth about authors own experiences, and students, with the process. The chapter describes the results of three years of tracking a concurrent design studio and environmental building systems classes and from the students' perspectives. It explores the concepts of architectural form, climate, and human response. The chapter discusses the computer models that are helpful in the past chosen to focus the Environmental Building Systems II (EBS II) course instead on the fundamentals of climate and thermal comfort, and how these interact with building enclosures. It explains the statement of the questionnaire asked students to complete the sentence.
