ABSTRACT

This chapter helps the readers to finish films and videos in Avid. It also discusses several situations in which one might want to export sequences or even a single frame from Media Composer. In addition to outputting files directly for distribution, there are lots of software programs out there to sweeten, enhance or correct the project. Having a knowledgeable sound mixer tweak every clip is a wonderful gift to the project, and the chapter explains how to send the project to a Pro Tools mixing station. There are two Export Settings: one is for exporting a QuickTime video and the other is for the audio tracks. Post-production truly is a collaborative endeavor and learning how to send files to others is key to that collaboration.
