“Sing for the power of thy foeman hath gone”

According to his 1837 volume of poems (see vol.111), Branwell wrote the first draft of The CXXXV11^th Psalm (no longer extant) in the Spring of 1834. As, according to Branwell, it was composed by Percy for his motet, “The Captivity,” it may have been intended as part of The Life of Percy—see p.92.
