ABSTRACT
Singapore runs a public school system. Almost all schools in the country are government schools and almost all children go to them. Schools are funded by the government and report to the Ministry of Education (MOE). The MOE develops national level policies and schools implement them with fi delity. It is fair to say from this perspective that Singapore has a centralised education system.
