ABSTRACT
With the ability to store and track a large amount of information and fi les in the Cloud comes a greater need to impose clarity and standardisation to everything. A concept artist working with a pencil and sketchpad is responsible for keeping some form of fi ling system so he is able to locate particular pieces as requested, even if the details of the fi ling system are indecipherable to other people. Transitioning to a digital medium, the same artist might be concerned with following a particular naming convention so that artwork can be properly identifi ed when sent to others in batch. Even so, the artist can otherwise organise everything on a laptop or desktop computer as he pleases.
