Well-told inquiry moments and stories often rely on personal and professional connections a moment, event, or memory from the childhood and schooling become linked with the here and now of our teaching. Children's picture books provide extraordinary examples of well-told stories that integrate text and visuals. The chapter provide case examples of Daniel's work with the preschool teachers in the Las Americas Inquiry Group, as well as other early childhood and elementary school teachers in the San Francisco Bay area and nationally. It presents photographs that tells the own story of student engagement and productivity. Electronic blogs can make use of text, video, photographs, and other visuals in an appealing and readily sharable format.
