ABSTRACT
The intervention to an architectural ironwork structure or object has a number of recurring issues, challenges and solutions which have emerged in my experience. Consistency of approach and getting the basics right are often sufficient to delivering a successful project. This section seeks to provide technical and procedural guidance to getting those basics right, but also the little details which can have a long term impact.
