ABSTRACT

Chapter 8 discusses what CPD (or CE) looks like for the online coach. It looks at types of formal and informal training programmes and events; peer-reviewed published books and nonacademic resources such as blogging and microblogging. The changing face of CPD activities and how self-published materials are now given much more validation than in previous years is noted. The point is illustrated through considering a blog from a colleague which, although written for others, resulted in changing her life.
