ABSTRACT
In Lesson 4, you will learn about empathy and the important role it plays in developing strong therapeutic relationships. You will learn that pushing people to learn skills often fails if you have not also developed a strong therapeutic relationship based in your ability to communicate an empathic understanding of your client’s inner world. In Lesson 4, you will also learn about the importance of asking for and using feedback to improve our abilities to show empathy.
