ABSTRACT
A comprehensive tabulation of phonotactic possibilities was one of the major additions to Gimson's An Introduction to the Pronunciation of English in the second edition (1970). Our aim in this paper is to supplement that data with some generalisations relating to initial and final consonant clusters in RP.
