ABSTRACT
Many pupils with Down’s syndrome have some sort of visual impairment. All children have poor visual acuity, resulting in slightly blurred vision at a close range of 25 cm. In addition, 60–70 per cent of children before the age of seven, require glasses for other refractive problems. Bifocals are routinely recommended.
