ABSTRACT

In the Establishing Phase, reader's marketing efforts will take on a different flavor than they had earlier in their practice. They have, by now, developed a niche in which they feel comfortable and in which they are beginning to develop a reputation. Although this niche may change over time, it is probably wise to allow themselves enough time to feel firmly established and become a recognized authority in one or two areas. Clearly, by the time one reach the Establishing Phase, marketing and networking are threads in the same cloth. Another significant thread is community involvement. People who are involved in the professional community can usually be relied on to be responsible to the ethical standards of the community. There is a sort of accountability that is missing in people who are not involved. One of the most important investment decisions to make at this phase is whether and how much you want to invest in real estate.
