ABSTRACT
The previous two chapters have highlighted the diversity of roles and functions that the HE developer might integrate into their regular roles. At the heart of these activities is the need to match what is delivered with what the participants or clients need or want. The capacity to provide high-quality, highly relevant experiences and services will ensure the service is well used, highly valued and likely to build increasing influence and visibility over the years. Ideally, it will be seen as the key avenue for support when capacity building, quality enhancement or shifts in strategy are being envisaged.
