ABSTRACT
(Skylar Tibbits) Traditionally, there have been a few successful funding models supporting research: (1) academia; (2) government partnerships; (3) large private companies (Bell Labs or the Google model); (M-) patrons of science/art; and (5) and some would argue all of Silicon Valley constitutes a "research body." But Seed Scientific is showing that it is possible to have a new model that exists in between all of these. What is your strategy for taking on research and how does this better the future of science and society?
