291Lifestyle refers to the particular attitudes and values you hold as they are reflected in the choices you make and the ways you behave. Stress can be manifested in a number of these dimensions related to your work, sleep, and finances, as well as personal habits such as drinking, smoking, and the use of prescription or illicit drugs. Stress is also embedded in the ways you are treated by others, not just within relationships (covered in the next chapter) but also in extreme cases of psychological abuse and harassment.
