Discusses Pearson and Spearman correlation coefficients, simple and multiple regression analysis, and logistic regression analysis. Includes attention to the underlying assumptions, worked examples from projects, and examples from the learning-sciences literature. Illustrates the equivalence of ANOVA and multiple regression analysis using dummy variables. Appendix C details the least squares method for determining regression coefficients.
