ABSTRACT
A short chapter that introduces readers to reading research articles in the learning sciences and discusses the kinds of contributions to knowledge that an article can make, as well as discusses in detail how an article makes its argument. It includes a worked-through analysis of an example from the literature. Exercises focus on analyzing the argument and contribution of a research study.
