Using WS 2:4, take extensive notes on the background environment, the technological environment, and the human interacti ons that occur while you are watching. Pay close attention to the details as well as the broad brushstrokes. Did you record the color of the s mock that the cashier was wearing? Whether the pharmacist wears glasses? The noise level in the mall ? The percentage of mothers and chi ldren in the supermarket? The behavior of the teenagers in the fast food restaurant? What lime of day did this take place? What was the weather lik e? Did anyone talk to you or ask you what you were doing? How did you feel observing and recording the action?
