ABSTRACT

An interview guide is w hat keeps your interview on track. Without it , you are lik ely to lapse into a "cuppa coffee conversation," a friendly chat that does nol provide the valuable information you need to write your case. The interview guide fill s the gap between the topic that interests you (the research question), the lit erature (or background information), and the special knowledge that you seek to eli ci t from the interviewee (the interviewee's role in the process under investigation). An interview guide is not "j ust" a set of questions. It provides a method of enhancing and enri ching the stories and systematizing the data coll ection process.
