ABSTRACT

The Case Research Study model is appropriate for undergraduate students to give them a taste of the real purpose behind learning the multiple theories and perspectives with which they have had to wrestle in their business school programs. Write about the protagonist's personal business history, most satisfying business experience, advice for new managers, or other stories, alternating with discussion/commentary by the student researcher. Undergraduate students often have trouble organizing their projects and keeping those projects moving forward. Begin with the assumption that undergraduates have little or no knowledge of how to use library databases effectively or where to search for relevant information. There are two sides to the process of data collection, the forensic/archival research and the live interview/observation. According to the rules of quantitative analysis, once the interviews are complete, notes are clarified, observations are decoded, and stories are collected, it's time to make sense of the data amassed.
