ABSTRACT

There are 4,800,000 Mongols in China, possessing a variegated and rich culture. Mongolian culture contains many unique and vital elements, a full understanding of which is indispensable for effective research in Mongolian studies. This essay will present a brief introduction into some aspects of Mongols in China, particularly with reference to demography and cultural geography. At the same time, the data will be applied to develop specific conclusions about the four cultural areas in Inner Mongolia, as well as future trends in the culture of the Mongols in China.
