ABSTRACT
Image theory has much in common with the theory of bounded rationality espoused in the previous chapter (see Chapter 22 in this volume). It has been considered in some ways comparable to Lord’s theory of leadership (Chapter 15 in this volume) and to Weick’s theorizing (Chapter 6 in Miner 2006a); both of these positions invoke unconscious processes to a considerable degree.
